Getting to the Bottom of ID

What is interior design? Who are interior designers? Do they have a history? When did it start?What is it that falls into their realm of work?I've heard of commercial, residential, urban planning, pedestrian planner, set designer...and so on. Who's who in all of this? Where are the lines drawn? What qualifications does one really need to get where they want to be? This blog is dedicated to opening this discussion and getting to the bottom of it.
